Miyah M Rasmus

Miyah M Rasmus, 15 of Ashland and formerly of West Salem went home to be with the Lord April 6, 2019. Miyah was born in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 29, 2003. She was the daughter of Michael and Tina (Marsh) Rasmus. She was a member of the New Beginnings Crossroads Fellowship where she enjoyed the night services. Miyah also enjoyed spending time with her family and singing with her friends in the choir. She attended Black River High School. Miyah was extremely excited to be a mother and take care of her little girl, Amelia Michelle.

Miyah leaves behind her daughter, Amelia Michelle; Mother, Tina Rasmus; Sisters, Jordan Kloka and Lacey Rasmus; brother, Aaron Rasmus; many aunts & uncles and nephew Jayden Rasmus. She was preceded in death by her father, Michael and nephew Banner.

Visitation will be Friday April 12, 2019 from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 PM at the Matteson Funeral Home, 40 Congress Street, West Salem, Ohio. The Funeral Service will be Saturday April 13, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem with Pastor Mike Simmons officiating. Memorials may be given to the Matteson Funeral Home at P.O. Box 314, West Salem, Ohio 44287 to help with funeral expenses.
