Margaret Steele

Margaret Steele, 93, of Homerville died August 10, 2017.

Margaret was born at the University College Hospital, St Pancras, Great Britain, June 15, 1924 to Maude (Mowlds) and Arthur O’Neill of Dublin Ireland, who preceded her in death. Margaret was also preceded in death by her husband Ralph Howard Steele, son Eric Michael Steele, daughter Valerie (David) Steele-Schmidtz, and sister Maudie and brothers Archie and Johnny O’Neill of London, England. 

She is survived by two sons; Ralph (Teresa) Steele of Sullivan and Randolph (Lisa) Steele of Polk, two daughters; Gloria Recuperio of Bedford Heights, and Penelope Steele of Mansfield, three grandsons; James Recuperio, Michael and Jonathan Steele, four granddaughters; Christina Kosht, Melissa Kosht, Brooke Steele, and Elizabeth Steele, and four step-grand-daughters; Sarah (Logan) Zepeda-Moore, Heather (Matthew) Marshall, Meridith (Jeffrey) Hall, and Michelle (Timothy) Williams, 13 step great-grandchildren and 3 step great, great children.

Funeral Service will be  at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem on Saturday, 8/12/17, at 11AM with Pastor Ed Graves   officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Burial in East Homer Cemetery, Homer Twp.  Online condolences may be shared at the funeral home website @mattesonfh.com
