Dennis Warner Obituary

Dennis E Warner, 75 of West Salem died January 1, 2019 surrounded by his family at LifeCare Hospice. He was born July 13, 1943 to parents Lester and Doris Warner. Denny graduated from Cloverleaf High School in 1961. He then married his wife Maretta March 7, 1971.

They had two children together; Jennifer (Vinny) Turner, Wooster and Scott Warner, West Salem. Denny also leaves behind three grandchildren; Jayla, Jalyssa and Tevin; one brother, Lester Warner Jr.; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Patricia.

He retired from Miller Brothers Construction after 36 years of service. He was the former West Salem Village Administrator and also served on the Cemetery Board. Denny was also a dedicated Browns and Buckeye fan.

Services for Denny will be held January 5, 2019 starting at 1:00pm at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem, with Pastor Scott Price officiating. Calling hours will be held 2 hours prior to the service. The family would like to give a special thanks to the Village of West Salem and Life Care Hospice in Wooster.
