Dennis B. Shell, 92 of Burbank died in his home on December 13, 2019. Dennis was born to parents, Huckleberry and Matilda (Leming) Shell in Stilwell, Oklahoma. He graduated from Marble High School. He felt great pride in serving his country. He served honorably in the Navy and Coast Guard. Then he married his wife Judith Stark in 1964. Dennis worked at Ford Motor Company for 30 years as an office clerk before retiring from there.
Dennis enjoyed astronomy; he loved going to star parties and would travel many miles to go to one. He had even made his own reflector telescope that turned out better than many of the expensive store-bought ones. He enjoyed playing chess so much he earned his master’s title. Dennis was a musical man; he knew how to play the harmonica and the guitar. He even was a State Champion at marbles. He was also a man who loved to share stories about his adventures in life.
Dennis leaves behind his wife, Judith Stark; Children, Denise Shamp of Burbank, Robin (Gail) Shell of Wooster, Jonathan (Ann Marie) Shell of Wooster; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; cats, Purcey and Esmeralda.
He was preceded in death by a son, Roger Shell; 2 sisters, 1 brother and cat, Emmaline Hearts and Flowers.
