Christopher L Crissey

Christopher L Crissey, 41, passed away February 21st, 2019 at his home in West Salem. Chris was born in Bedford, Pennsylvania on January 20th, 1978.

Chris was raised by his Aunt and Uncle Brad and Pam( Crissey) Farner. He graduated from Northwestern High School in 1996. Chris was a truck driver for Hook and Haul in Litchfield, Ohio. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing and just being in the outdoors. Chris became so efficient in his hunting skills he could hit a deer from over 200 yards away with a 12 gauge shot gun. He also loved his dog Suzie. You could almost always find Suzie sitting on Chris's shoulder enjoying each other's company.

Chris leaves behind his Mother, Trena L Branham, Massillon; his fiancée Wendy Shambaugh; siblings, Brad Hoffman, Bedford, Pennsylvania; Jamie Ginns, Wooster; Chandra Ridenour; Bradford Farner Jr.; step children Aaron (Amanda) Shambaugh 2nd, Ashland; Katie Shambaugh of the home; step-grandchildren Grace Shambaugh and Tobias Shamabugh; grandmother Marilyn Crissey, Manns Choice, Pennsylvania; uncle Ike Crissey; and aunt Tammi McKenzie. Chris was preceded in death by his uncle Kirby (Chris) Crissey Jr. and grandpa Kirby Lee Crissey Sr.

There will be a time of gathering for the family and friends at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem, Ohio on Monday February 25th from 7:00 PM-9:00 PM. Burial in Dailey Cemetery, Central City, Pennsylvania. Instead of flowers the family would like memorial contributions to be given to the Matteson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 314, West Salem, Ohio  44287.
