A beloved family member of the Tope family passed away on 01-02-2024. Roxie May Tope, an adorable Beagle Shiba Inu mix, was originally adopted as a young boy's show dog for the fair on 04-06-2010 only a year old she would become not just a boy’s fair project but a beloved family member. The boy, Josh worked hard with Roxie, but as time went on the fair became the past, and Roxie enjoyed the company of her family Wayne, Rebeca, Ashley, Cat, Josh, and Andrew. Along with friends, she’s made such as cats Dean and Sam and little pup Ivy. Now, she joins old friends such as Freddy and Tigerlily. Those are only a few of her kitty friends she has made. She wasn’t always the nicest to other dogs, but we know their friends in the love of their families. With her friends and family, she loved nothing more than road trips especially to see her dear Grandma, and sometimes a good run from home. She wasn't a dog for toys but she did love her raw hides, hot dogs, and any table scraps. Then when mom wasn't in her seat on the couch there Roxie was “supposedly” keeping it warm. The family's favorite memories of Roxie all are of her spending time with them whether it's finding a way for her in the Christmas picture. The times at the fair. All the wonderful trips she spent at Grandma's. Or how she used to get excited when we came home, specifically when Cat would Come home from College. Roxie is one of the most chill dogs a person could ever meet. She was a people dog. She enjoyed the company of people, especially hers. Now, her people will miss her company and wish her love.
