Dorothy “Jane” Bisbee, 76, of 1700 East Smithville Western Road, Wooster, Ohio died Thursday March 7th 2024 at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights, Ohio where she was a patient for the past two weeks. Born in Ashtabula June 25th, 1947 the daughter of James S. and Emma G. Remaley who preceded her in death. Jane was a long-time resident of North Kingsville, while also living in Panama City, Florida and Lexington, Kentucky for 19 years with the love of her life, Wayne Reynolds, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her sister Judy Greenwood, daughter Brenda (Michael) Kardohely, son Troy (Renee) Bisbee, and granddaughters Larissa Pridgen, Karri Collins, and Hannah Kardohely. She also cherished her seven great grandchildren Blake Averitt, Travis Averitt, Kinslee Pridgen, Sophia Pridgen, Gracie Collins, Heidi Collins, and Lainey Collins. Jane retired in 2008 and in her spare time, she enjoyed reading, watching UK basketball, crafting and making things for others. She was a long-time member of the North Kingsville Presbyterian Church.
Viewing will be from 5 to 7PM, Monday, March 11th 2024, and the funeral service will be Tuesday, March 12th 2024, at noon at Matteson Funeral Home, 40 Congress Road, West Salem Ohio, with Pastor Paul Bartholomew officiating.
