Margaret L Markley 91 of West Salem died Thursday evening Feb. 16, 2012 at the Belmont Towers in Ashland.

Funeral services will be Tuesday Feb. 21, 2012   at 11:00 at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem with Pastor Jerry Arman officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.  Burial in Polk Cemetery, Polk, Ohio.  On line obituary and condolences may be shared at the funeral home website @ Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of North Central Ohio, 1050 Dauch Drive, Ashland, Ohio  44805
She was born Oct. 10, 1920 in Ashland, Ohio the daughters of Carl and Mary (Roberts) Marsh.

She retired after over 40 years of service from Hedstrom in Ashland where she was a rubber chemist.
She attended the First Baptist Church in West Salem

She is survived by a daughter Susan (Paul) Beck of Norwalk
Four grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and a very close friend Betty Remington of West Salem

Two sisters- Florence Osborn of Florida and Shirley Baney of Ashland

Her first husband Lester C Shultz who died in 1971, second husband Lloyd Markley who died in 1997, a son John Shultz who died in 1974, four sisters Catherine Forbes, Carol Keener, Mary Coughenour and Virginia Levitt and a brother Dale Marsh died previously

Our deepest sympathy and condolences to Margaret's family. We have the dearest memories of she and Uncle Lloyd over the years. Many wonderful times and celebrations shared with family will keep her forever in our hearts. God bless the family she leaves behind. ♥

Margaret and I had a special time together at church, dinners, etc. I cannot think of her without thoughts of her creativity, her smiling face, and her love of her dog. I know she willl rest in peace. love you margaret.
