Vicki L (Freer) Dexter

Vicki L Dexter, 60 of West Salem died Friday September 25, 2015 at Hospice of North Central Ohio.

Funeral Service will be Wednesday Sept 30, 2015 @ 11:00 a.m. at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem with Pastor Steve Broughton officiating.  Visitation will be Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 at the funeral home.  Burial in West Salem Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of North Central Ohio, 1050 Dauch Drive, Ashland, Ohio  44805.Online condolences may be shared at the funeral home at www.mattesonfh.com.
There will be a Celebration of Life Ceremony at New Hope Community Church, Northwestern, 8691 Easton Road, West Salem at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday evening

She was born September 13, 1955  in Ashland, Ohio the daughter of Clifford A Freer and Eloise J (Landman) Cooke. She was also raised by Virgil and Barb Cooke who survive.
She graduated from Ashland High School in 1973.
She had been employed at Hospice of North Central Ohio as an inpatient unit nurse.
She was a active member of New Hope Community Church.

She is survived by her husband Robert C Dexter Sr whom she married in 1993, children, Robert C (Ariel) Dexter Jr., Angelina (Ed) Beard, James (Sheena) Pitts Jr., Amy McCarthy, Leah (Michael) Mullins, 14 grandchildren, sister, Lori Day and step-sister, Linda Bates, step brothers, Edward  Strange and David Strange, aunt and uncle, Sally and Paul Landis.

Her parents, step sister, Sandy Johnson died previously.
