Robert Lee Burgan

Robert L Burgan, 76 of West Salem died Wednesday March 29, 2017 at his winter home in Florida.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday April 4, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem with Pastor Josh Chaffin officiating. Friends will be received Monday evening 5:00 to 8:00 at the funeral home.  Burial in West Salem Cemetery.  Online condolences will be shared at the funeral home website at mattesonfh.com.

He was born March 28, 1941 in Lodi, Ohio the son of Karl T & Helen (Hershey)Burgan.

He retired from M.P. Dory after 34 years in Highway Construction.

Bob was a member of the Operating Engineers Local 18.

He is survived by his wife, Jane, children daughter, Bobbi(Brad)Rush, son, Brian(Jodi)Burgan, grandchildren, Brennen, Brooke, Bryce and Brock Rush and Kyle and Kara Burgan.

His parents, father-in-law, Samuel R Massie, mother-in-law, Goldie M (Shultz)Presock, step father-in-law, James L Presock, step mother-in-law, Juanita V Shirey and several aunts and uncles died previously.
