Rhonda Jo (Glaser) Hory

Rhonda Jo Hory, 62, was called home by the Lord in Issaquah, WA, on January 22, 2017, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on October 14, 1954, in Medina, OH to the late Ronald and Donna (nee Kruse) Glaser.

Rhonda was a very devoted Christian and a loving Wife, Mother, and Oma. She led a very happy and blessed life. She was a woman whom would do anything for anybody and everybody. Rhonda was a loyal friend and a second mother to so many.  Her charming smile and captivating laugh would light up a room and will be remembered by all who have met her.  Rhonda truly was a gift from God and will be remembered in the hearts of everyone.

Rhonda (Henry) raised their children in West Salem, OH and were members of Trinity Lutheran Church, Ashland, OH.  In 2008, Rhonda and her husband moved to Amelia Island, FL where they resided until May of 2015.  Due to her husband’s job, they moved to Des Moines, WA.  Rhonda will be laid to rest in her home town of West Salem, OH.

Rhonda will be dearly missed by her husband Henry;  children, Matthew (Carey), Adam (Britt), and Jonathan (Kellee); surviving siblings Lisa (Lew) Harding, Chris (Leslie) Glaser, and Mark (Sandy) Glaser; also her grandchildren Karah, Lane, and Miles.  Preceded by her brother Michael Glaser in August 2016.

Friends may join the family for visitation Friday, January 27, 2017 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM or 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Matteson Funeral Home, 40 Congress Rd, West Salem, OH 44287.  Services will be held Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church, 80 E Buckeye St, West Salem, OH 44287.   Interment will follow at West Salem Cemetery.
