Norma Jean (Alleman) Arman

Norma Jean Arman, 79 of Ashland formerly of West Salem went home to be with the Lord on Saturday November 25, 2017 at Brethren Care in Ashland.

Funeral Service will be Wednesday November 29, 2017 at noon  at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem with Pastor Jerry Arman officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home one hour prior to the services. Burial in Congress Cemetery.  Online condolences may be shared at the funeral home website at mattesonfh.com.

She was born January 10, 1938 in Shreve the daughter of David & Ethel (Weary) Alleman.

She married John Arman Sr. on September 25, 1955 who preceded her in death in 2010.

She was a homemaker all her life. She loved her family, grandchildren, great grandchildren and flowers. She was an avid reader and enjoyed putting puzzles together.

She is survived by her children, James Arman, Judy Badger, Jerry(Barb)Arman, Jack Arman, Jeanne(Mike)Workman, Jeff and Joe Arman,  9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and a brother Steve Alleman.

Her son John Jr., brothers, Ted, Tom, Danny, Gary, Randy Alleman, an infant brother and a sister, Linda Swinehart also died previously.
