Mary K (Ballard) Turnage

Mary K Turnage, 76 of Wooster, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday February 28, 2016 at Wooster Community Hospital.

Memorial Service will be Saturday March 12, 2016 @   11:00 a.m.  at New Pointe Community Church,  1741 Oak Hill Road, Wooster, Ohio  44691,   with Ron Armentrout  officiating

Burial  of the ashes will be in West Salem Cemetery at a later date.

She was born February 2, 1940 in Pickens County, Alabama, the daughter of Woodrow and Ina M (Abrams) Ballard.

She had been employed at Plymouth Apartment Complex.

She was a member of the West Hill Baptist Church in Wooster, Ohio.

She is survived by her children, Danny Turnage of Texas, Rodney (Hollace) Turnage of Leroy, Ohio, Steve(Deborah)Turnage of Conneaut, Ohio and Mary G Thomas of Wooster, seven grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, sister, Elizabeth Rice of Alabama and a brother, Lewis (Nancy) Ballard of Mentor, Ohio and daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Turnage of Cleveland, Ohio

Her parents, a son, Mark Turnage and a sister, Vera Frances died previously.
