Jack E Hinerman

Jack E Hinerman, 84 of West Salem died Thursday at Akron City Hospital in Akron.

Funeral Services will be Monday December 12, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon 2:00 to 4:00 at the funeral home with Masonic Services at 4:00 p.m.  Burial in West Salem Cemetery where military rite will be conducted by James Stevenson American Post 499.  Online condolences may be shared at the funeral home website at mattesonfh.com.

He was born November 15, 1932 in Marshal county, West Virginia the son of Burley and Virginia (Jackson) Hinerman.

He served in the US Army in the Korean War.

He retired from General Motors Company in Parma after 36 years.

He was a member of  Masonic Lodge 0074 in Seville, a 32 degree Masonic, Shriner Scottish Rite and UAW Local 1005.

He is survived by his wife, Joan K (Holtz) Hinerman whom he married August 15, 1959, children, Jeffrey Hinerman, Sheila(Wayne)Smith of West salem, David Hinerman of Johnstown, Ohio and Jill(Patrick)Durrence of Kentucky, 11 grandchildren, two great granddaughters, sisters, Alberta Pluff of California and Patty Loiacona of New York and a brother, Frank Hinerman  West. Virginia

His parents, a son, Scott E Hinerman, three brothers, Bill, Jim and Loyal Hinerman died previously
