David M Kenyon 28 of West Salem died Wednesday morning from complication due to diabetes at Lodi Hospital.

A Celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be shared at the funeral home website at mattesonfh.com.

Memorial contribution may be given to the Matteson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 314, West Salem, Ohio  44287 to help with funeral expenses.

He was born September 4, 1988 in Medina the son of Lenora Canfield and Steven Kenyon.

He attended Northwestern High School.

David enjoyed cooking , gardening and taking care of the dogs.

He is survived by his parents, Lenora Canfield of West Salem, Steven Kenyon of Odd, West Virginia,  grandfather, Allen Canfield of Rittman,a sister, Danielle Canfield of West Salem, a niece, Rylie Dugan , many aunts, uncles and cousins.

His grandparents died previously.
